MAG Interactive is participating in the One Special Day charity fundraiser to support gamers with disabilities for the ninth consecutive year.

Stockholm, Sweden – October 3, 2025 – Today MAG lnteractive is proud to announce its support of the charity fundraiser One Special Day for the ninth year in a row. The annual event raises funds to assist gamers with disabilities. MAG will donate all revenue generated from all games in the UK today, October 3, to the charity.

Organized by the British non-profit organization SpecialEffect, the One Special Day charity funnels all donations it receives towards developing technology and building special game rigs that assist gamers with disabilities in playing their favorite games.

“We are proud to continue our support of One Special Day and SpecialEffect. The passionate people behind this initiative play an essential role in building rigs that promote an equitable gaming experience for all gamers,” says Daniel Hasselberg, CEO of MAG Interactive.

One Special Day 2025 is supported by over 80 gaming companies worldwide.

About SpecialEffect
Founded in 2007, SpecialEffect is a UK-based charity that was born from a noticeable gap in support for young people with disabilities in accessing games, as well as a lack of perceived empathy for the importance games play in young lives. SpecialEffect later pioneered the use of technologies like Eye Gaze (eye-tracking for input), and working with major players such as Microsoft, Sony, and Logitech to produce adapted controllers and other assistive devices. This collaboration has always been at the heart of SpecialEffect’s ethos, consistently and freely sharing expertise and knowledge with developers and studios to incorporate accessibility features in games, and contributing to a more inclusive gaming landscape. In 2024, SpecialEffect received a BAFTA Special Award. The award, which recognises outstanding contributions to games, film and television, is one of the highest accolades bestowed by BAFTA. Its flagship event, One Special Day, has raised over $3 million since its inception in 2016 to help enable the charity to have a global impact.
